History

Als Christoph II. von Losenstein 1558 starb, erhielt dessen Sohn Hans Wilhelm die Schallaburg und dessen Bruder Georg Achaz sämtliche anderen großen Besitzungen der Linie Losensteinleithen, darunter das Stammschloss Losensteinleithen, die Herrschaft Weisenburg an der Pielach und ein Drittel von Burg und Herrschaft Losenstein. Er starb am 6. Mai 1597 auf dem Schloss Linz und erhielt in der Losensteiner Kapelle im Kloster Garsten ein monunmentales Grab.
