History
Erstmals genannt um 1310, seit 1590 im Besitz von Christoph Karrer, daher lange Zeit auch als "Karrergütl" bezeichnet. 1903 von der Witwe Theresia Girkinger an die Stadtgemeinde Steyr zur Erbauung eines Artillerie-Exerzierplatzes verkauft. 1936 Verkauf an Hansi Nagel. Ab 1950 im Besitz der Österreichischen Stickstoffwerke AG bis 1973. 1993 zum zweiten Mal an die Stadtgemeinde Steyr verkauft.
