Based on the conscription patent dated October 25, 1804.
Scope and content
Described as "family sheets", referred to as “conscription sheets” in other municipalities. Old and new (revised) family sheets of the Steyr conscription districts available. Contains information about the name, year of birth, place of birth, occupation, military description of the respective apartment residents.

System of arrangement
A folder was created for each conscription district according to conscription numbers. Sorted by apartment number within each house. Registration of the families, if a family moved out, the name was crossed out and the new tenant was entered. Sheets could also “move” with tenants to new addresses. A new sheet was then created for the new tenants. Sheets have been eliminated, when there was no more space to write on them.
